Responsibilities
Preventative Maintenance
· Perform preventive maintenance activities as assigned on all equipment and machines throughout the plant in conjunction with daily production requirements
· Repair breakdown of equipment, machinery, and infrastructure
· Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems
· Fabricate parts and other equipment as per instructions or blueprint
· Install and commission new machinery
· Perform weld repairs on equipment
Teamwork
· Accountable for taking all necessary measures, to ensure that all personnel work with protective devices and according to safety measures and procedures required by the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the policies outlined by Del’s Pastry.
· Participates in the ongoing development, communication and implementation of team concepts, programs, and policies
· Communicates and coordinates with production team to maintain machines and equipment indicators
· Ensure adherence to quality standards and health/safety regulations
**Other Duties as Required
Qualifications
· Certified Millwright
· Electrician 309A License
· Able to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and expedite repair
· Ability to work in a team environment effectively
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
· Ability to carry out tasks on a timely basis
· Shift work (potential night and evening work from time to time)
